You can now create your own Facebook Messenger message templates in respond.io—giving you more flexibility to start conversations with messages tailored to each lead, instead of relying solely on Meta’s pre-approved options.
Design templates with your own message content and variables, and enhance them with optional headers (text or image), or URL buttons. Once submitted, Meta will review and approve your templates (typically within 24 hours), after which they’ll be ready to use across Inbox, Workflows, and Broadcasts.
Keep in mind:
- Only utility templates are supported — promotional content will be rejected by Meta
- Templates can't be edited after submission (Meta requirement)
