, Meta is changing how it charges for WhatsApp messages. Here’s what’s changing:- Service messages:Each phone number gets1,000 free service messages per month. Unused messages don’t roll over. After that, each message is charged at the service message rate for the Contact’s country or region.
- Utility templates:These are charged per message, even within the 24-hour customer service window.

- No markup:You pay exactly what Meta charges.
- Card fee covered:We’re covering the fee on WhatsApp balance top-ups from 1 October until further notice.
