Problem Statement:
Currently, our AI features can’t send images or files to customers. This is a major roadblock for both sales and support teams, who often need to share product images, brochures, guides, or troubleshooting documents to give customers the full context or help them solve problems. Without this, customer interactions are less effective and require manual intervention for something as simple as sending a file.
Desired Outcome:
AI should be able to recognize when an image or file is needed and send the appropriate material automatically, based on the conversation. This would allow customers to get complete answers and resources instantly, boosting satisfaction, speeding up resolutions, and letting teams focus on more complex tasks—without having to jump in just to attach a file.

AI Agent Support for Sending Images, PDFs, and Files
This feature is critical for businesses using AI Agents in real customer operations, not just conversational support.
The AI Agent should be able to send:
* Images (vehicle photos, product images, maps, damage references)
* PDF documents (contracts, quotations, invoices, receipts, policies)
* Videos and brochures
* Dynamic files generated during workflows
Business Use Cases:
* Car rental: Send vehicle images, rental agreements, payment QR codes, pickup instructions, and inspection reports.
* Healthcare: Send prescriptions and appointment documents.
* Hospitality: Send menus, brochures, and booking confirmations.
* Real estate: Send property photos, floor plans, and brochures.
* Retail: Send product catalogs and warranty documents.
The ability to send media should work natively within AI workflows and support both static files from the knowledge base and dynamically generated files from integrations (HTTP requests, Google Drive, CRM, or storage providers).
This would significantly reduce human intervention, improve customer experience, and allow Respond.io AI Agents to handle complete end-to-end customer journeys without requiring handover solely to send an attachment.
This is a high-impact feature for enterprise automation and would greatly increase the value of the AI Agent platform.
