AI Agents: Reply to Conversations Opened from Ads

Business Problems:
Right now, when a contact opens a conversation from an ad without sending a message, AI Agent does not reply — because the current logic requires an inbound message from the contact before the AI Agent engages. This leaves ad-driven leads unanswered until a human or workflow steps in, slowing response times and giving bad experience.
Desired Outcome:
Enable the AI Agent to engage with contacts who open a conversation from an ad, even when no message is sent, so ad-driven leads are responded to immediately and at scale. To achieve this, the AI Agent should:
- Treat an ad-opened conversation as a trigger to reply, instead of waiting for an inbound message from the contact
Current workaround:
- Configure a Workflow that sends an automated message when a conversation opens from an Ad and assign to AI Agent. Once the Contact receives that message, AI Agent can engage and continue the conversation as normal — it can also use the Ad Metadata to tailor its replies.
