Business Problem:
Currently, respond.io supports VoIP calls only through Telnyx. This creates limitations for businesses in countries where Telnyx is not fully supported or where local telecom providers are preferred. As a result, businesses are unable to use respond.io for call management with their existing SIP providers.
Desired Outcome:
Introduce a customizable call channel that allows users to configure their own SIP (VoIP) provider. This would include fields for:
  • SIP server IP address and port
  • Username and password for authentication
  • Option to set up inbound and outbound calling
This flexibility would allow businesses to use their local telecom provider credentials for voice communication within respond.io.
