Desired outcome:
I would greatly appreciate it if, when we click on "contacts" again, the last email/word we typed in the top right search bar does not get deleted. If we need to search for someone else, we can manually delete and enter a new query.
Problem:
On the Contacts module, I use the search bar at the top right to type the email address of the person I want to find. When the desired contact appears, I click on their name, and their profile page opens.
  • While on this page, if I receive a message from someone else, I check that message, the profile page of the person I initially searched for disappears.
  • I click on "Contacts" again. The recently searched contact is briefly visible for 1 second.
  • After that, the name or email address I typed or pasted into the search bar is deleted, and the search results disappear. I then have to search for, find, copy, or paste the email address of the person again.
