Business Problem:
Current conversation exports only contain customer-facing messages. Internal comments — which often hold critical operational context such as handover notes, pricing discussions, partner recommendations, and booking details — are excluded entirely, making exports incomplete for AI training, quality assurance, conversation analysis, and archival purposes.
Desired Outcome: Include internal comments as part of conversation exports, with the following:
  • Timestamps and author information preserved for each comment
  • Available in both CSV exports and via API
  • Option to export messages only, or messages + internal comments together

Our team uses respond.io to manage customer conversations alongside internal collaboration. Key operational decisions are documented in comments during live conversations. Without them, exported data misrepresents the full conversation and reduces its usefulness for downstream analysis and AI training workflows.
