Business Problem:
Currently, respond.io only integrates with the HubSpot Contacts object, which limits visibility into company-level information. For businesses that manage accounts at the company level (e.g., B2B sales or account-based support), not having access to HubSpot Companies creates a disconnect between the contact and their associated organization.
As a result, users must manually switch between HubSpot and respond.io to access company-related data, leading to inefficiencies, fragmented context during conversations, and slower response times.
Desired Outcome:
Enable support for the Companies object from HubSpot within respond.io, so that users can:
  • View the associated company info linked to a contact directly in respond.io.
  • Access important fields such as company name, industry, size, lifecycle stage, or any custom fields.
Use Cases:
A sales agent can quickly view the company profile associated with a customer to understand their industry or account size before responding.
