Business Problem:
When a conversation is unassigned or closed, collaborators remain attached even though assignee ownership has ended. This leaves unnecessary teammate visibility on completed/unowned conversations, adds manual cleanup in busy inboxes, blocks AI Agents from participating (since AI Agents won't act on conversations with an active collaborator), and lets collaboration scope drift out of sync with assignment ownership.
Desired Outcome:
  • Add a setting that automatically removes all collaborators from a conversation at the same time it's unassigned and/or closed.
  • Configurable per Inbox/Team or as a Workspace-level setting (e.g. under Workspace Settings > Conversations), so teams that want collaborators to persist can opt out.
  • Could ship as a standalone toggle ("Auto-remove collaborators on unassign/close") or be folded into existing assignment/closing automation settings.
Current Workaround:
None — Users must manually remove each collaborator after unassigning or closing a conversation.
