Native Google Calendar integration for scheduling and follow-ups

We need a native Google Calendar integration in respond.io to schedule and manage meetings directly from conversations. The goal is to avoid switching between tools and to keep all follow-ups and appointments tied to the correct contact and conversation.
Right now, we can only share public booking links or use third-party automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.), but there is no built-in way to create, view, or manage Google Calendar events from within respond.io.
Use cases
- Creating a Google Calendar event directly from a conversation when a customer agrees to a meeting.
- Automatically adding meeting details (contact name, channel, conversation link) into the Calendar event description.
- Seeing upcoming meetings related to a contact from their profile or conversation view.
- Triggering follow-ups in respond.io based on past or upcoming Google Calendar events.
Proposed solution
- Native Google Calendar integration at the organization level (connect one or more Google accounts).
- A "Create Event" or "Schedule Meeting" button inside the conversation.
- Event creation form that lets the agent pick: date/time, duration, calendar, title, description, and attendees (using the contact’s email where possible).
- Automatic link back to the respond.io conversation in the event description.
- Optional: show upcoming events linked to the contact in the contact details panel.

- Faster and more organized scheduling directly from conversations.
- Less manual work copying details between respond.io and Google Calendar.
- Better follow-up and tracking of meetings with leads and customers.
- More complete context for agents, who can see meetings and communications in one place.

Adding my vote here: this feature is really important to complete the sales cycle. Being able to schedule follow-ups directly from the conversation view and receive reminders would greatly improve workflow and ensure no contact is left unattended.

It is urgent and necessary to be able to integrate Google Calendar. The main objective should be that the agent does not leave the CRM and that they have total control, this means being able to have their own agenda.
