Knowledge Source: Adding Snippet as Knowledge Source

Business Problem:
Currently, AI Agent cannot use
Snippets
as a Knowledge Source, even though AI Assist and AI Prompt can access Snippet data from the platform. Snippets often contain important business details and other key information. Without this capability, users must manually export their Snippets (copy/paste or download) and then upload them as a Knowledge Source — an unnecessary extra step just to make AI Agent reference context that already exists. Whenever a Snippet is updated, users have to repeat this process — exporting and re-importing over and over — just to keep the AI Agent’s knowledge current.Desired Outcome:
Allow the AI Agent to use
Snippets
directly as a Knowledge Source. This would let users maintain content in one place, avoid repeated manual uploads, and ensure AI Agent always has access to the latest, most accurate information from Snippets. Benefits:
- Edit once — updates to Snippets automatically reflect for AI Agent too
- Eliminate manual re-uploads whenever content changes
- Keep answers consistent and always up to date.

Current Workaround:
Users can manually export a Snippet and import it as a Knowledge Source.
- Note: Every time a Snippet is updated, the user must update the Knowledge Source too, since it’s not synced automatically.
