MCP: Read internal comments

Business Problem:
Currently, the respond.io MCP server can add internal comments to a conversation, but it cannot read the comments already there (Help Center: Model Context Protocol (MCP)). Teams that keep internal notes in comments cannot include them when they ask an AI assistant such as Claude for reports or summaries.
Desired Outcome:
Through MCP, AI assistants can access the comments module: a conversation's internal comments, with the author and date.
Access follows the user's existing permissions in respond.io.

Hi Paul Ellsworth - thank you for your feedback. Could you share with us what you mean by "accessing the comments module"? Currently we do support adding comments, do you mean by reading existing comments?

Nabilah Binti Salleh . Thanks so much for responding. So when I connected Claude via the Connector, it says it cannot read the comments my teammates make in the chat (see the example below). In Respond.io we are able to leave internal comments in the chat at the bottom of the screen and those show up in the chat. Claude said it can't see those. 
I would love for Claude to have access to those notes to help us with organization, reports, and context.
