Business Problem:
Currently, there is no functionality to schedule messages or emails to be sent at a specific date and time in the future. This limitation impacts sales teams who serve clients in different time zones, as they must manually send messages at inconvenient hours or risk delayed communication.
Desired Outcome:
Introduce the ability to schedule messages and emails for future delivery at a specified date and time. This feature should accommodate time zone differences and automate timely communication, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Use Cases:
- Time Zone Management: Sales teams can schedule messages to be sent during the client’s working hours, even if the sender is in a different time zone.
- Follow-Up Automation: Teams can set follow-up messages to go out at a strategic time, ensuring consistent and timely engagement with leads or clients.

I have a client who says “I'll confirm in the afternoon if I'm available that day at that time to schedule the video call”, I want to schedule a message to be sent a couple of hours later to remind him that I'm waiting for his confirmation.
Another case would be: a customer who scheduled the call for that same day and I want to send him the video call link 10 minutes before, leaving the scheduled message to be sent at that time.
There are other platforms that if they do I would like them to enable it in this one please is very useful for me

I'd like to have a "send later" message option for individual 1:1 inbox messages. Just like on iMessage, we can select a specific contact, and send a message "later"

This feature would be highly valuable to us too. Our users sometimes want us to send them a reminder in date x about a subject, and currently we manage those in Google calendar. It would be great to be able to have them in the platform.

Hi Jake Hiew, thanks for following up on this. While this feature was requested a while back, we've been prioritizing many features which may take more planning and development on our end first. Rest assured, we'll update this feature request when we start looking into it.
To help us understand more about your use case, what do you intend to use this feature for and how might it solve your business problem?

Yihui Chan I'll give you my case. For example, i am communicate with client on whats app, and he wants me to remind him about something in few days. So in that case, i need put this reminder into my calendar, and when it is time to send this reminder, i need to open chat with him to send this reminder. So i am doing the same to times, first i need put in into calendar and after send message. But also i can be on another meeting at this time when i need to send this reminder.
Another situation, i am working in the evening, and i want to send some information to the client, but it is not good to send whast app messages after 9pm, or maybe we are in different time zones. So it will be very good, if i can set time, when this message will be delivered

It's good to hear from your personal experiences, so thank you for your comment, Valeriy Vetrov. One workaround for now is you could try to utilize the "Snooze" feature as a reminder to send those messages.
