Native Support for Audio and Video File Types in Instagram Channel
Suhana Hamzah
Business/ Platform Problem
:Currently, respond.io allows users to select and send audio and video files through the Instagram channel, but these files are converted into S3 links rather than being sent in their native formats.
This impacts the user experience, as recipients receive links instead of the actual media files. Specifically, the following file types mentioned by Meta are affected:
- Audio: aac, m4a, wav, mp4 &
- Video: mp4, ogg, avi, mov, webm
Desired Outcome
:- Enable native support for the specified audio and video file types in Instagram channel, allowing these files to be sent directly without conversion to S3 links.

Wow, incredible that they haven't given importance to this issue yet. We know that WhatsApp is a priority, but Instagram has reached an equally important level as a sales channel.
And these links make the conversation lose naturalness and trust with customers
