Respond AI: AI Agent – Make internal actions
in progress

Business Problem:
Respond AI Agents are currently limited to conversation replies, without the ability to take
internal actions
within the platform. This means they can’t change Lifecycle stages, assign conversations, post internal comments, or close conversations — all of which are essential for driving workflows, keeping pipelines clean, and collaborating across teams. As a result, automation breaks down and human agents are left picking up the slack.Desired Outcome:
Enable AI Agents to perform
internal actions
such as:- Changing Lifecycle stages
- Closing conversations
- Generating conversation summaries
- Assigning to other teams or agents
- Posting internal comments
- Sending customer replies
With these powers, the AI becomes a true operator — not just a talker, but a doer — capable of following through based on conversation logic and customer intent.
Use Case (All Lifecycle Phases):
- Capture: Tag new leads and set Lifecycle toNew.
- Convert: Assign to sales, log a summary, and mark asEngaged.
- Retain: Close resolved tickets, comment for escalation, or auto-assign to Tier 2.
This closes the loop between AI-driven conversations and internal workflows — helping teams move faster, stay organized, and scale without chaos 🧩🤖📈

Agent AI Answer Questions + Collect Information

Agent AI will be able to answer questions, gather information and, depending on the content of the answer, move up a branch. We currently have to separate Agent AIs to answer questions or gather information. This makes the conversation not fluid and depends on ending the process from one to move on to the other, which often causes the user to not move forward in the conversation or to not take the required action. There are already mechanisms that allow you to mix both and also be able to shoot for another process such as scheduling an appointment for example. My suggestion is to have that already as an embedded part of Agent AI.
