Business Problem
When customers upload files (e.g., images, documents, PDFs) through channels such as WhatsApp or other messaging apps, Workflows cannot currently capture or reference these files.
As a result, businesses cannot automatically pass the uploaded file to external systems for processing, verification, or storage. This forces teams to manually download and forward files, introducing delays and increasing operational workload.
Desired Outcome
Enable Workflows to capture customer-uploaded files and treat them as variables that can be used in subsequent steps. This includes allowing Workflows to:
  • Access the file’s URL, ID, or metadata
  • Store the file as a variable within the Workflow
  • Forward the file to external systems via HTTP Request
