It is almost the end of the second quarter, should I wait for the app or move to another platform?

Hi Kamran Khan, thanks for your patience. We've released the new mobile app. You can check it out on the App Store by searching for "respond.io -Inbox", or use your camera to scan the QR code below to install the new app.
Let us know if anything else, thanks again!

In my opinion, the app does not need to be sophisticated as the main concern for a native app is the smooth operation of our agents responding to our customers. So I think, as a start, the contact and message module are the only modules needed.

Any news on this feature? It should be a priority
We are considering moving to another platform as it is very frustrating to work on you mobile app and our agents are complaining

Make iOS mobile app stable

It’s very important to be able to rely on the mobile app to respond to customers immediately.
Notifications show a new message arrived but when trying to see it in the app it takes a long time for the app to open, and many times it freezes during opening so it’s needed to force close it.
When you force closes the app most of the times it asks for email and password again…
All of this makes answering messages difficult on not very enjoyable for our customer service team.
(We have tried clearing another apps in order to free memory but the problem persists in different iPhones with different iOS versions)

We are looking forward to a native app. That way we will improve the experience when we first load the app, and not have the need to log-inhas too often.
The iOS app also have a lot of room for improvement. log in
We asked to support about an open Respond API to build our own Native APP but they couldn't offer access to it.

Hi Galo Galvez, thank you for your feedback. The team is working tirelessly on launching the new native mobile app and I am sure you will look forward to it. 😉
Meanwhile, could you tell us what are the features/modules you would want to see on the new mobile app?
I
Isaac Ezban
Shi Hui: thank you for letting all of us know that you are already working on this.
Is there a date we can expect this a new native mobile app?
Please help us with an estimated timeline

Hi Isaac Ezban, as we are building a completely new mobile app, more effort would be required, especially in focusing on what features that matter to our customers in the first release.
We are looking to release a beta version within Q1-Q2 and will continue improving from there.
Meanwhile, we appreciate it if you can let us know what modules (Messages, Contacts, Dashboard, etc) or features you would expect to see (or not see) on the new mobile app. This feedback would definitely help us a lot. 😃

The iOS app goes blank several times and the messages don't arrive, it's as if it were disconnecting.

Everyone has used Telegram or WhatsApp right? Their apps respond so much faster and smoothly to taps and other user inputs. Their UI just feels so much faster and/or smoother, more responsive. It would be great if Respond can be more like that - both for the mobile app and web as well. Thanks!
