The same way we add a "source" when a contact is added, we can add a "channel", obviously, sometimes there won't be a channel (in case a user manually importing a contact list), those could just be "No Channel" or "None".

You can now know where Contacts connected from. To access this data, go to Reports > Contacts and find the Contacts Connected graph broken down by channel. This information can help you comprehend which channel Contacts came from.
Do note that a Contact may be added but not connected. A Contact is deemed connected only when an incoming message is received or an outgoing message is sent successfully on the platform.
